short film "Dictators Do Not Die”

This 14-minute short film was shot in Germany in 2018. The film won a total of 15 awards from various festivals.

Summary:

A boy escapes from a Nazi camp and goes to live in the woods.

Since then, he has never left the forest for fear of war.

Years later he is found by a woman, a nature photographer. But he is now old.

The old man is brought from the forest and placed in a home for the elderly. There he watches the news. What he sees and hears from current events worries him again, he escapes from there and goes back to the forest.

He still believes that Hitler is alive, that he never died. Because refugees are dying for their freedom.

People are still fleeing dictators.
